3 dolphins at Milhaud pier 5 – Toulon arsenal

Construction of 3 mooring dolphins for the French Navy, at the rooting of the Milhaud 5 pier, for the mooring of PHA type boats (ex BPC). With a nominal mooring capacity of 100 T, they consist of a steel monotube of 1600 or 1800 mm diameter and variable thickness. The large diameter is justified by the relatively poor quality of the soil. These piles were installed by ramming using a BSP CX110 hydraulic hammer.
