Breakwater of the new Fos/Cavaou terminal

For the construction of the protective shell of the museum of the Cavaou LNG terminal, the STS group (Saïpem-technical-Sofregaz) has entrusted the company with the construction and installation of more than 600 “Core Loc” blocks.
These 6-branch blocks are laid with a precision of 10 cm according to a precise plan.
For this purpose, the company equipped a ground crane with a DGPS satellite positioning system.
The laying of the 300 blocks, located below sea level, was carried out with the permanent assistance of the company’s divers.
